Bug? First family quest, Baron Raymondo (spelling) where?

It tells me he is sailing to this port. But he never shows at the port is this a bug? It has been over 500 days now. Pirates are always near the ports they say. Not sure if I need to start the game over?

You may need to sail back towards the port he was leaving. I have waited for him for over two years near St. Augustine, when he was supposed to be traveling from Santiago to St. Augustine. I finally gave up and headed towards Santiago. He was down there actually south of Santiago, and he was headed south. I don't know how he expected to make it to St. Augustine like that.

Many others have reported trouble with that Santiago to St. Augustine route, and several others have eventually found him down near Santiago. So, if that is the route, I feel pretty sure you will find him down near Santiago. Others have reported similar problems with other routes, so even if it wasn't that one, I would still say to head towards where he is supposed to be coming from.

That isn't a glitch, actually. See, someone TOLD you that's where he was headed. But if you miss him, he'll bounce to someplace else, and if no one tells you where, you (and your log) still think hes going to the LAST place.

Fortunately, at least on the easier levels, raymondo bounces around the same rough patch, going counterclockwise around the map. Least thats how it seemed to me, following his dumb ass... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sleep.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="-_-" border="0" alt="sleep.gif" />

Heheheh

I know he bounces around, but we are talking about him never getting to a city he was going to. After they tell you where he is headed, he will go to that city first, before moving on to the next one. We are not talking about him beating us there, then leaving to go to the next place before we get there. It's not just me and my log that are fooled, it's everybody in the game. Here is a screen shot of the bartender telling me that Col. Mendoza is on the way to his city (St. Augustine), and that he set sail 683 days ago from Santiago.

They're expecting him after 600 days? Raymondo: Fashionably Late!

I once waited 18 months for Raymondo to go Santa Marta to Maracaibo (sailed the route a couple of times), checked in Curacao and he was still "sailing to Maracaibo" before cracking it and heading east for the run up the Windward Islands and found him just outside Margarita!

Dude, a little far from Maracaibo ain't ya? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/william.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":will" border="0" alt="william.gif" />
