Build 11 uninstall?

Aye, matey! Foller Fred Bob's simple steps:

1) Uninstall PotC.

2) Delete yer remaining PotC folder.

3) Reinstall PotC.

Not unless ye zipped up yer PotC folder befer installing de Build or sumptin'! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Revised steps as follers:

1) Uninstall PotC.

2) Delete yer remaining PotC folder.

3) Reinstall PotC.

4) Zip up yer PotC folder fer backup! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

BTW & FYI, Fred Bob be havin' 3 PotC installs on his machine 'cause he made one o' dem ZIP files: Release version, Build 10.1, an' Build 11! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="8)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />

I doubt that your saved games from build 11 would work in the original version, anyway. That being said, if you have saved games left over from before you installed the Build, you might be able to remove them from the POTC directory structure and then restore them after a reinstall.

the saves does NOT work in the vanilla potc from the build (any version)
and its a hell of a job to remove it manually
BUT u can try delete the program folder and rename the old one (as told in the install notes)
its possible it would work .......
