Arrrrrgh <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hi.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":gday" border="0" alt="hi.gif" /> m8ey tnx for this looks lke i have to renew me code for cheats i guess.

Hope there will be a BUILD 13

SoulThief, if you have downloaded B12 recently, you HAVE B12.1 - it's been updated with some fixes from the original B12, which is why it's B12.1. Very soon we'll have B12.2 - more additions and fixes, plus some completions (such as the Blacksmith mod).

We'll probably have "B13" when there is any MAJOR update.

(thanks, Keith!) <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/boom.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":boom" border="0" alt="boom.gif" />

<img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_praise.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bow" border="0" alt="icon_praise.gif" /> to Pieter and Keith!

The file works properly then? Even with problematic different PotC versions? I supposed it should, because it worked for my Euro Ubi Soft version, but am happy to know if it actually does.

One thing that might need to be stated somewhere with the download: For Euro versions (or Russian ones possibly), you need to run the RunMe.bat file in the main folder manually if you want everything to work properly (movies, speach, loading screens, etc.)
BTW: I moved documentation files into the Buildinfo subfolder, instead of keeping them into the main PotC folder. I also added the Build 12 installer file to the Updates folder, so you don't need to download that when an update becomes available.

Anyway: Hope to have been of some assistance... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Nope. Build 12.1 is already a few months old or so. But I made a `sort-of` <a href="http://millenniumdock.bravepages.com/storage/others/PotCMods.zip" target="_blank">temporary build 12.1</a> (everything but official, but does seem to be working properly), if you are interested. The SWAK is added to that. For more information, see <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net/ftopic4322.php" target="_blank">this</a> thread. Hope this helps you a bit... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

I second V. Grimmshausen's comment,

Hail to Pieter, Kieth and Mad Jack! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bow" border="0" alt="bow.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bow" border="0" alt="bow.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bow" border="0" alt="bow.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bow" border="0" alt="bow.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bow" border="0" alt="bow.gif" />

Is everything in your modpack ready to go, Pieter? I thought we were still adding to it? And I'm wondering if the people who are AGAIN having trouble with the Greenford Fort Sack part of the main quest have installed your modpack?

Just some things to consider...

I think we should declare an end to adding things to your modpack and run some thorough testing on it before we commit it to the CVS and as a Build 12 update. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

Honestly, I haven´t tried right now. I´ve been away from my playing PC since yesterday and all I´ve done so far was DL´ing it. I suppose I´ll just have to unzip the file and then copy it into the PoTC folder. I think, I´ll do that this weekend, I just want to finish the Satanist Quest in B11 first, since after installing B12 I´ll have to start all over again. Not that I mind, but then I´ll do my other modifications like the shipnames and statistics as well as my Alter Ego before starting a new career.

I thought we were still adding to it?
For all I know, the current version should work properly. However: I am not quite sure if it actually does. Some testing is probably highly in order if you want to upload it as Build 12.2 update.
If there is something to add, I suppose I would, though. I just don't know what should yet be added.

<!--`QuoteBegin-CatalinaThePirate`+--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(CatalinaThePirate)</div><div class='quotemain'><!--QuoteEBegin-->And I'm wondering if the people who are AGAIN having trouble with the Greenford Fort Sack part of the main quest have installed your modpack?
I don't know what should cause that problem. The only thing I could think of is a problem with the quest_reaction.c file, but the only thing that happened there is the addition of CCC's SWAK and Stormy Start code.

As you know I did a fresh Install POTC with build 12.1 Internet update.
I then added your mods zip to test
(we corrected failure to load and missing QC blacksmith)
I have added you most recent Mods.zip and am stating a new game.
Will run through the main quest first, but starting with Stormy start.

OK, this involves the Stormy start part.

When starting this way, it is possible to get to Redmond before triggering the Oxbay invasion,
especially if one's stormy start is actually on Redmond.

A player can then talk to the Gov, (the guard does not stop you and you don't bump into Reims)
and get the spy mission without the "Inform the Gov" mission.

Once in sailing mode near Oxbay, you get the "inform the Gov" mission

On return from Spy mission to Oxbay, the guard stops you, you see Reims, and the Gov.
does not talk about the quest.

You have both quests (Report invasion, spy on Oxbay) active with no way to finish them,
and no way to continue the main quest.

"I" Key does not solve this.

I installed Build 12, as packaged (thanks again) and then i started the game, Pressed "I" to initialise etc. My keys were not working properly! Down arrow was down, F3 was up, no entern no space etc.

What i did was start a new game, on the tutorial deck, configure my keys again, while in the tutorial, save the game and then i opened an old build 11 save and PRESTO!! all fixed up!!! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

And let me add that it was the bomb!! That build is awesome.

Thank's for reporting this, I'll try to find a fix for that.

The problem is that Akella wrote the game assuming that we would always start by leaving Oxbay through the French invasion fleet. So Silehard (and maybe other NPCs as well) talks away as if you have already seen the invasion.
Drunken, I assume that you didn't have this problem because you have already been sailing near Oxbay. That would have triggered the "French invasion! Inform govnr" stuff.
Here is a fix, to be inserted into Robert Christopher Silehard_dialog.c , that prevents Silehard from giving you the "infiltrate Oxbay" mission prematurely:

case "Meeting":
d.Text = DLG_TEXT[13] + PChar.name + DLG_TEXT[14];

// ccc stormystart, to make sure you don't get the Oxbayquest prematurely ->
if (PChar.Quest.Story_OxbayCaptured == "1")
{
Link.l1 = DLG_TEXT[15]; // original link
Link.l1.go = "Story_Oxbay_Captured"; // original link

}
else
{
Link.l1 = "Sir, I have sighted a French fleet near Oxbay !";
Link.l1.go = "Stormystart1";
}
break;

case "Stormystart1":
d.Text = "Indeed? How many ships? And what were they up to?";
Link.l1 = "Umm... sorry, I can't tell. A terrible storm drove me away before I could investigate.";
Link.l1.go = "Stormystart2";
break;

case "Stormystart2":
d.Text = "A Storm, eh? Bah, I bet you ran from the Frogs. Anyway, without details about the Frenchmen's mission your so called information is nothing but a useless rumour.";
Link.l1 = "Allright, I'll get you your details. Maybe you'll take me serious then. Goodbye, Sir.";
Link.l1.go = "Stormystart3";
break;

case "Stormystart3":
NPChar.quest.meeting = 0;
Diag.CurrentNode = Diag.TempNode;
DialogExit();
break;
// ccc stormystart <-

case "Quest Lines":

If you insert that into that dialogfile it will take effect immediately, so you can continue from a savegame before you talked to Silehard the first time.
