Build 12 Full Version Help

[N.1.K / Raven Claw]

I have two questions 1 technical and another gameplay.

Technical~

When you go back to the lighthouse after you meet Danielle for the second time (after Saving the reasercher). I get a new quest to go to douwesen and find rheims with Danielle. Well if i remember in POTC normal Version Danielle comes with you. Well my problem is she doesn't, she stays standing on the beach like a statue. Is it because i have 4 man'o'wars, and no free shipspace? Im at the worst pirate rank, umm dreaded pirate of the seas i think. And i thought if i berthed 1 of my man'o'wars at a dock she might come with me. Well i cant berth. I think its because of my rank.

Gameplay~

How do i increase my rep back up? I cant seem to find a way of doing it with the priests, i gave them 500,000 and they didn't do anything. And the blessing options gone, the option that lets you increase rep from priests.

Trying to remember ... hmm ... at this point Danielle has her own ship, right?
Yep, then for her to join your fleet, you have to get rid of one of your ships. You could just go and sell one.

Oh and dude do you know how I can:

1. Increase my rep
2. Increase crew spawning in taverns (ship hiring crew) What file do i need to edit and where?

You can lay up your extra MOW, N.1.K / Raven Claw, if you are running the Build. Check on your F2 menu it's on the right near the bottom. You need to be in a friendly port.

Rep changes can occur if you do several things - you can pay the church, or go out into the jungle and save fair maidens from rapists, or if you are near a ship that has sunk, if you save the men floating in the water (sail near them with your ship) you will get a rep boost.

ALSO if you run some of the quests and do things like recovering lost relatives or saving children, you will get a rep boost or two...

To get more crew, I'd do this - go get your ship repaired. You will automatically get your ship filled up with crew if you have this selected in BuildSettings.h

Otherwise, hiring a crew for a MOW could become quite tedious and time-consuming! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

Anyone out there have the <i>unadulterated</i> Build 12.0? I made the original installer, but have since trashed the workspace in order to gain a local server since my services were no longer wanted. The current Build is nigh on unplayable, no matter what I do. I debug and solution global enterprise systems all day long, so please don't toss up a bunch of assinine questions, please. All I'd like is the good old Build 12.0, no additional untested or minimally tested mods. I'm perfectly capable of carrying it from there.

The original Build is available from the PA! main website, isn't it? I can assure you that the full installer is just plain Build 12.1 with no additional changes made. It's just the most recent officially released modpack version. For all I know, there are no additional bugs in Build 12.1 as opposed to 12.0.

I had a look to see if I still have the original original Build 12.0 on my HD, but I only have your online installer file; not the files that were part of the Build. And since the online installer doesn't work anymore, that won't do any good. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

I think it is nescessary to rectify some things. For as far as I know, your servises are not unwanted at all. The only reason I made the full installer file is because your online installer didn't work with my European version of the game for some reason. I could only get Build 12 to work if I installed it on top of Build 11. So I made an installer file that included Build 12 installed on top of Build 11 that would work also on European versions. That is the sole reason for the full download existing. I wasn't at all wanting to get rid of your online version, let alone hurting you. All I wanted is to make an installer file that worked for me. And since more people were having the same trouble, I sent the full installer to Keith. If the files from the full installer were added to your online installer's server, both would still be used, instead of just the full installer remaining.

Actually, I would think an online installer like yours would come in very handy indeed for the Post Build 12 mods, because then I wouldn't have to upload a 100 MB plus file all the time and people wouldn't have to redownload so much either. Would be much easier and much better. And, if possible, we could make the installer work so that while installing, you can choose to install just the original Build 12 or install the Post Build 12 mods as well.

I hope this explains things and I sincerely hope that you are not being offended anymore. I am sorry for doing something that offended you in the first place.
