(Build 13 update 3) BUG in Main Quest

I encountered a bug in the main quest. Here is what happens.
After I got he gold idol I must meet with Danielle. So I go to the Light House and that old man says she is not there. So I put to see and I am at Douwesen with no ship or crew and only my personal items. So far so good... But when I go to dowesen and try to go to the tavern... it's locked. Hmm.. I waited till day- everything opened(store, shipyard) but the tavern is not accesable. I tried the FAST TRAVEL and there wasn't a tavern there. I also noticed that there isn't a fast travel to the PORT... Can someone tell me how can I fix this. Thanx

meh....that's like that since build 14. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> it does need to be noted in the quest log that you need to go to the pirates though. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

It's older than that. I think it's been there since 13 alpha.
 
How would the player know he's supposed to go to the pirate settlement? Logically? We could put it in the quest log: "I must now go to the pirate settlement on the island.", but wouldn't that be really weird?
 
not if you wrap it in well. changing the dialogue a little would make a difference too.

well, i'd want to do it, but i don't have the game at the moment, so you'll need to send me the file. otherwise i would be working on it already.

I think we should simply remove the bug instead of puting strange notes into a questbook... I'll try to check why it happens.

one of my computer's memory banks broke, so i have too little RAM to run the game without overheating my computer at the moment.

anyway, i'm sure i could come up with something. i'm pretty good at such things. but still, fixing in stead of working around is still always better.
 
That sounds worrisome. You should get your computer fixed properly. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />
 
better buy a new one instead. in fact, i've even been thinking about putting the deskfan next to it to provide proper cooling. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":))" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" /> in any case, it's a load of junk.
