Build 14 A9.5

I loaded up Build 14 A9.5 today over my already running game of Build 13.

For the most part things seem to be working fine, and really good job on the new things added.

However something is really bugging me and i am not sure if this is working as intended or not. whenever i talk to anyone after the conversation ends my game speed jumps up to 10X the speed making things very hard for me to move around or play at that speed. If i manage to talk to someone again it slows back down to a normal speed. For a while it would only jump to a 3X speed which i was trying to work through that. but at 10X it too fast for me.

I would like to know if there is a setting i have missed some were or what i can do to fix it. as this has made the game not really playable for me at this state.

I did try to search the forms for a long time and was not able to find anything that seems to be like my issue.

I don't know why it has sped up to 10x speed but I do know how to fix it.
If it speeds up to 10x hit the key "R" if it only speeds up to 3x also hit "R" <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

That is definitely not a normal problem. You installed correctly as per <a href="http://wiki.piratesahoy.net/index.php/Instalations" target="_blank">the instructions</a>, I assume?
Try resetting controls to default in the Options menu. If that doesn't work, remove the "options" file from your main game folder.
A new, correct one, should be generated next time you load up the game after that and hopefully the problem will then be solved.

Alright a update.

i forgot to mention that the i Remapped "R" to "N" and it did not seem to work at all. and i Remapped "G" to "M" which did seem to still work at least it would speed things up even more.

I tried what Pieter has suggested by removing the options file and i reset up the options and things all seem to be working fine now. so thank you for that mate.

on a side note the neato new splash screen videos you added before the games loads up no longer have any video i can still here it but not see the cannon balls being fired. that is not game breaking just thought i mention it.

I've got a missing video sometimes too, but I haven't got a clue why. Rebooting my computer solves it.
