But once we have established the Build 14 name, I can make a Build 14 profile on the ModDB and mirror all Alpha files there, which would make sure we always have a mirror and should also always provide a quick connection.

Very odd. This afternoon on your site I had 30 ko/sec, and I tried another site to see the transfer speed rate : 250-300 ko/sec. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

It all depends on the load. If people are downloading from other areas of the site then the download speed will be rather low. If there aren't many on you get the file at a much faster rate. This is the same with all sites. (except these ones that allow you to buy membership. They take download speed from other people when you connect if you've been handing them money)

what needs to be tested? download speed i cannot test, using a mobile connection. Game wise i am able to test anything ...
