Build 14 Alpha 7 Plus Quest

Last time I was in Tortuga I met & hired Mr Gibbs & he gave me the Aztec Compass.

Is there a quest connected to this ?

go to the world map and look around near hispaniola.

I received a letter from Fred Bob when I helped & hired him. I know there is a quest associated with it but can't remember the details of it.

go to the isla muelle church. keep in mind though that although there's another quest connected to it, that one's not finished yet.

I found Isla De Muerte halfway between Cuba & Cayman.

There is no actual quest connected to Mr. Gibbs and the Aztec compass. Having that compass just opens up access to Isla de Muerte, so you can explore it, but there's nothing actually there. However, Bartolomeu o Portugues and Short Jack Gold have been doing a good job on making the Curse of the Black Pearl film quest, where Isla de Muerte, Mr. Gibbs and the compass will actually be used. The quest is pretty much finished and is included in Build 14 Alpha 8 WIP 2 MAXIMUS. Unfortunately there's some bugs in that particular game version that prevent you from playing through the whole thing. However, Billy Brock will allow you to play-test various parts of the quest straight away. He's located in Oxbay Port when you get there just after the tutorial and meeting Norrington in Oxbay town.

When you play the "Help the Lady" quest that starts with Fred Bob, you're given a letter. This was originally meant to lead into a new quest to be made once we'd have some new islands, but unfortunately Catalina the Pirate has since left these waters and never did make the continuation of the quest. Perhaps somebody could some day make a part 2 to that quest. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

At the moment I'm using Isla De Muerte as a base with my Forests, Market Stall, Rum Distillery & Cannonball Foundry.
