Build 17

1) I installed but when I click on postinstall tells me then I missing parameter indicates a series of errors as a result the game does not go (abnormal error).

2) I also installed build 14 alpha plus 7, but the game does not have ships sails (sailing the same)
.. Why?

well, that's not going to do any good, is it? read the installation instructions first. they are in the FAQ.

so you did install build 13 final first, right? still, you should go with build 14 alpha 6 update 2, not b14 a7.

Build 17? To be released somewhere in 2050! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dev.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":d:" border="0" alt="dev.gif" />

Make sure you install:
1) Build 13
2) Build 14 Alpha 6
3) Build 14 Alpha 7
4) Missing Files (EXCLUDING the INI files)

What Windows version do you have? Not Vista, by any chance, do you? If you do, go into your Control Panel and turn off User Account Control (type it in the search box if you can't find it). THen try installing again.

yeah, just noticed it says build 17 myself. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

I tried reinstalling the game and build (13 final, 14 alpha 6, alpha7 + missing files), but the ship remains without sails ..

The missing sails problem is because somehow the postinstall file isn't doing it's job. Try to use the batch file <a href="http://piratesahoy.net/build/postinstall.zip" target="_blank">here</a> and see if that does work.

Perfect! The game works properly.
But how do I change ships in the main game? Because I would like to put in place of Lugger1 the black pearl , because i installed build 14 alpha 7 plus.

look at the FAQ. (maybe the place of the FAQ should be included in the FAQ? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> )

LOL! PROGRAM\InternalSettings.h is the file you want. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doff.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":doff" border="0" alt="doff.gif" />

still, the FAQ includes instructions of what you should do. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
