    Hi,

I'm currently trying to setup New Horizons to my liking. I didn't like that you have to move your hand to the ENTER key when you want to open the command list, so I edited the key to be F4.

That' s when I found out that this really only changes opening the command list. You still have to press ENTER to confirm some chosen command. Is there any way I can change the confirmation key?

INSTANT EDIT: I also just found out that to choose commands you have to use the LEFT+RIGHT arrows? Is this changeable?

So, I also found out the solution to my problem:
    1. Go to %GAMEDIR%/PROGRAM/CONTROLS
    2. Edit the DefaultControls.h file
    3. Section: Interfaces and Dialogs (not changable ingame)
      1. CTL_CMD_INTERFACE_SELECT is for confirming selected commands
      2. CTL_CMD_INTERFACE_LEFT is for moving the selection left
      3. CTL_CMD_INTERFACE_RIGHT is for moving the selection right
Perhaps this will help someone else. I'll look into the forum search, maybe someone else posted a similar problem. I'll look for mentions of DefaultControls.h

I'm glad you were able to figure it out!
Indeed we created BuildDefaultControls.h many years ago to allow players more control over their controls.
Can't remember if we ever documented it somewhere though...
