Solved BuildSettings.h

Just a quick question:

• are those settings "saved" somewhere else?!

Because i've changed DEATHRATE ingame to 130 (where it still is), but my BuildSettings still shows the old value of 30!

"BuildSettings.h" is now obsolete. Anything which was previously controlled there is now handled by the advanced "Options" menu. If you changed survival to 130 in the menu then you can't resurrect - this is what I always do as well. Ignore "BuildSettings.h", just do everything in the menu.

The settings are probably saved in the "options" file. If you need to delete that file, e.g. because it's suspected of being corrupt and causing random weirdness, you need to re-do any such settings in the menu.

Yeah, it really is the "options" file in the games root directory... that was probably too obvious for me

"BuildSettings.h" is now obsolete.

Technically it is still used by the interface. But players don't need to edit it because the interface takes care of that.

The settings are probably saved in the "options" file.

That's exactly where they are.
