Buying and selling cannons

Does anyone have any ideas on making cannons bought and sold like goods? That way you wouldn't have to carry a full set of cannons on a ship, or you downgrade and recoup some of the cost of what you sell. It could create alot of neat possibilities such as carrying long guns and carronade, or carry less guns in exchange for more cargo space.

Don't know if it's possible or not, but it's a great idea.

Since the new mods have introduced some excellent improvements in the gunnery model, I've always thought it would be great to be able to customise my gun configuration. e.g. Say on a schooner maybe Long 9lb chasers fore and aft , and 18lb carronades broadside.
