Need Help Capabilities -3

Hi,

i just started playing aop 2, and from the beginning i started playing my capabilities are lessend by 3
so my power is: (-3) 8 etc.

can somebody please tell me why this is and what i can do about it

Welcome to PA and COAS.

Thats because your sailing a ship that is a little to high a class for you to sail, if you work on your nav skill or higher a officer with higher nav skill than you have (minimum of 25 pts) then asign him to the role of navigator your -3 for all skills will be no more.

Or you can always get a second ship, a smaller one, to avoid the malus, but keep your big ship and swap ships when you want to fight.
