Damn, and I do not have National Geographic Channel. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

Not a bad documentary, all in all. The omission of Stede Bonnett and the <i>real</i> reason for the loss of the <i>Queen Anne's Revenge</i> were pretty glaring. I went back over several books I have on Blackbeard, and never found a single reference to a "Frenchie", either. Ah, well. My only real complaint was the way they portray Blackbeard's death. Not at all accurate, and very Hollywood. I'd still recommend this one for the video library.

Wasn't Frenchie the pirate who would walk around saying, "I'm Frenchie! is everybody happy? ...Good!" <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huhh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:k" border="0" alt="huhh.gif" />
Maybe I'm confusing that with another documentary... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />
I'll have to catch the 3/18/06 showing ... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/keith.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":keith" border="0" alt="keith.gif" />

LOL! Perhaps! Then again, he might have been the one the officers called <i>Little Cockroach</i>. Quite a talented tailor, that one! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

Not that I'm one to talk, but I never did understand their giving Israel Hands the "Jack Sparrow" treatment... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />
