Little repaint I whipped up the other night, could be better, could be worse I suppose... remarkably dosnt look that bad in game. (my kingdom for a decent .gm converter) but ohh well. As always comments welcome and appreciated. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bow" border="0" alt="bow.gif" />

Looks great. His facial colour looks a bit odd, but other than that: EXCELLENT! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

Amazing work. This skin looks a little bit younger than the original but not bad at all. I think Captain Red is ready to sail to be the new Horror of the high sea. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

PB is right about the face... gunna tweak that some... I only wish 3ds had a working .gm exporter... so I could remodel the char and get it back into the propper format... without the uv going to pot.... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> Ahh well maybe by the time I get into AoP Ill be able to scrounge up a copy of maya from work... glad you guys like it so far... if only I could get em a peg leg, and move some of the vertices of his face... but maybe with some smoke and mirrors I can work something out.

Did some work on the face... now to clean up some details... lemme know whatcha think...

1.2 CR, any more details sorta pointless... as they just res out; considering meh source material. All n' all... B-, but passable.

If someone is interested in adding this skin to the tailor that would be great; as it seems that facemaker.c and how all that works has been changed... I cant seem to get the skin to initialize on its own accord, and I just assume not replace a skin thats in the game; asside from maybe a one shot quest mod or sumthin.

Looks great. But he has one helluva big nose. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

To add the model to the tailor's shops, you need to make it a seperate model that doesn't overwrite existing model files. Then add him to PROGRAM\MODELS\initModels.c. That is the only file you need to modify. The facemaker number is added in there as well. I hope you manage to figure it out. If not, post here again and I'll try to help.

I started a new game (didnt realize I needed to do this to get the tailors to repop there inventory); and put him in as ID 235 (that was the first code I found that wasnt allready spoken for). I get my line to buy him, and the tailor will switch to the skin; however, the skin is completely grey (as if he is not colored at all). I didnt have time to buy the skin too see if the 256x128x64's where showing up right (seeing him grey sorta warned me off him, didnt wanna crash that game)... the only thing I can figure is that I need to make a change to the ID init for 235? Not sure... maybe you have seen this before PB and can give me a tip or 3?

Not to be a bastid on such matters but could the keeper of the potc wiki at there convenience make a change about the facemaker.c being superseaded... I found this to be a source of much confusion. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whippa.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":whipa" border="0" alt="whippa.gif" />

On another note, I decided to take a little liberty with the nose... as its one of WM.s most characteristic features... in life he had a huge snoz, so in game; I really wanted that to stand out. In the movie he almost comes off as an Anti-Santa Claus; which I think I have achieved hah!

If his texture doesn't appear, it would seem to me that the texture that the GM file refers to isn't in the Textures\Characters folder. Make sure that both the name in the GM file and the texture's filename are exactly the same.

I believe nobody actually updates the wiki anymore. I never used it. You can register there though. Maybe you can change the information yourself?

He looks excellent! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
