Change scale of lowpoly Crew

Just curious if anyone can point me in the right direction to resizing the lowpoly crew models to a little bit more of a realistic size?

The only three things I can think of:

-its a setting in one of the .c or .h files (please let it be this one!)
-resizing the model in the .gm editor (if this is the way to do it, how???)
-hex editing a dll (which will make me cry!)

This is probably the most important question that needs fixing right now, it was the same in POTC. If no-one who has the tools/skills will do this, then at least tell us what tools we can use to edit the models so we can do it ourselves, I'v ebeen trying for ages and i can't find anything that will let me edit .gm models.
