Changing/buying clothes

I just wanted to know where you can buy clothing, if you get them from the store.

Most islands have a Tailor's Shop somewhere, which allows you to buy new outfits to wear (you keep your old ones as well).
I think you can ask townsfolk for directions if you can't find the shop. Once you're there, speak to the tailor and choose an outfit, and he will show you how it looks by temporarily wearing it himself.
