changing the color of ship sails

i wanna know if and how i can change the sail color of a certain ship...any suggestions?

Yeah, just open \Program\Ships\Ships_init.c with notepad.
Find your ship and add the line

refship.EmblemedSails.normalTex = "ships\parus_silk.tga";

The sail textures are in \RESOURCE\Textures\Ships\
Just change that line to what texture you want to use, it's very limited though.

Might not be dark enough. You can get other sail textures from the PotC Build Mod.

You will need to start a new game after you save your changes for the new sail to be loaded.

alright thanks for the help.if i decide to start a new game i will do this.just not ready to do that yet haha
