character skin request

ok ive tried to skin a character actually tried to reskin an existing model to use for my character but i cant figure it out in the least heh im trying to use the off_spa_1 model for the spanish officer an change the color of his uniform to black an the yellow parts to brown but i just have no knack for skinning heh so if anyone who knows how could reskin it or something id be grateful just something bout the original character that i dont like hehe doesnt seem to fit my idea of pirate

If you are using photoshop

select the marquee tool/the lasso tool to select the whole part you want to change the colour of, then choose image->adjustments->hue/saturation

oh yea if i get it to work right ill post it up here in case anyone else wants to use it least if it looks as good as it does in my mind the way i want it hehe

I don't understand - you mean change the model name? if you want to do that, use a HEX editor... if this is the case, just let me know and I will explain

i figured it out got a new character model <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> thanks for the help on how to re skin ill post a screen shot soon as i get back into game
