Character Tool and Avatar Studio 2

Has anyone successfully imported an Avatar Studio .wrl into the charactar studio ? I keep getting errors ..

Oops - are we talking about the same Avatarstudio? The avatarstudio checkbox in the Tool is for a freely availvable french program <a href="ftp://ftp2.`web3d-fr`.com/webdfr/avatarStudio/AvatarStudio20.zip" target="_blank">ftp://ftp2.`web3d-fr`.com/webdfr/...tarStudio20.zip</a>.
And yes, I did import models from that. They don't come out perfect, but usable. (Check if the arms are long enough with the help of the bone locators, as described in the tool's help file.)
However, I think one of the big modeler programs (max or maya) may also have a plugin called Avatar Studio (or was that Character Studio?) If you're talking about one of those you'll have to leave the "Avatar Studio" checkbox unchecked.
