A classic dilemma, most guitarists have to face sooner or later. The Fender sound is richer than Gadaffi ever was, but Gibson's thinner neck make it easier to play the fretboard. And there is a lot more to it than just that. A hard choice, althoug I did choose the Fender - despite my short fingers.

Neither. I choose PRS (Paul Reed Smith). I also own a Gibson LP, but it doesn't even come close to the quality of my CU24. Neither did a Fender Strat.

I can only say I switched my Strat for that LP, because I could not get those thicker notes to sound how wanted, or get them at all. I should probably have gone for a HSS in the first place, but... oh well - found a girl who wanted a more "bluesy" guitar than her's LP so we made a switch. And then I got my hands on a PRS...
