Hi i've been playing the build mod for several years now and it is an awesome mod and you have improved basically every aspect of the game, although i think it would be awesome if you added more strategic elements in such as taking over colonys or maybe make ccc's buildings real although i know these things are really hard i was just wondering if anyone has attempted or is thinking about doing anything like this?

Actually, the Capture Colonies mod is already in the works in Pirate_KK and is included in Build 14 Alpha 8 WIP 1, with an updated version still unavailable. The mod isn't perfect yet, but for the most part it does work.

Replacing the BuildingSet models with "real" ones instead of walk--through-the-walls-glow-in-the-dark-models is going to be either extremely hard or impossible. Once did some experimenting with that, but no luck. The only way I see for getting something like that done is to only be able to build on pre-defined places. I think that's how it works in AoP as well.
