Combined Mod vs GOF

Does these mods work together? and which one is the better mod?

Btw, I wanted to download Combined mod 3.2, found the topic but I guess it would take me 12 hours to finish the download... srsly, no torrent?

The GoF modpack is based on the Combined Modpack, but newer. It contains all content from the CM v3.2 and more.

How come? Combined Pack has around 1gb and Gof from what Ive seen is much smaller...

L.E Just finished GOF installation and it shows me this: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error with start.exe when I am trying to launch the game..
L.E 2 I might be mistaken, I have installed only Gof 1.1, without 1.0, which has 2 gb... does it have to be installed in order?

Yes you must first install GOF 1.0 and then patch it with 1.1.

Same for the 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 patches. First GOF 1.0, Then GOF 1.1, then GOF 1.1.1 and finally GOF 1.1.2
