I'm trying to make the ships look like the versions from the movie. But I'm not at all friendly with the maya program. I need a man who understands even a little bit about it in order to fix the small details that I will show him. All my works will of course be posted here. Here's how it looks at the moment...

Ahoy there @Layder and welcome to the forum! :cheers

What modelling work would you need to get done?
While Maya is quite tricky, if you just want some additional details added, @Jack Rackham knows some tricks using the TOOL.

What have you done so far on the Queen Anne's Revenge?
At first impression, I can't spot any obvious differences with the version I'm familiar with... :unsure

I see you added a flag on the QAR bowspirit, and stern guns on the Dutchman. But I'm probably missing more. What else have you done? We've actually been looking for someone willing to work on the Dutchman model for a while. You can see the texturing progress I've been making here:

    Thanks, @Legendary_Spider!
As our resident expert on PotC film ships (and texture artist on most of them!), you can spot any differences far better than I could ever hope to. :onya

Would definitely be cool if you guys can work together to make these the best versions of these ships you possibly can! :bow

These ships were reworked rigging. The structure and position of rey and masts, the position and shape of the sails, and the texture. If you open the original model and just compare it, you'll see a lot of differences.

Your ropes definitely look a whole lot better, @Layder! :cheers

So if I understand correctly, you want the model to be edited with the red and green bits?
In theory, that sounds fairly doable.
@Jack Rackham, is that something you imagine you could manage with the TOOL?

Delete in red. And green - to extend the top of the mast. Probably this can only be done in Maya.

Hi @Layder, I've attached a modified mast and yard as you specified (the locators need to be added again). I also fixed a geometry error on one of the ropes.
There was an error when exporting the new rey_c4 file, so if it causes problems, I suggest using a different yard model in its place. I've tried to fix it, but Maya is currently refusing to export anything, so I'll try again later. :facepalm

Excellent! this is what you need. I continue to work on the ship. Can you lengthen the tops of the second and third masts?

The work is suspended) I hope that Armada will help with the mast) on old masts, adding a new one does not make sense, since after editing everything is erased. =(

Do you mean you lost the locators?
If so, you can export the ones from the old one and import them on the new one using the TOOL.
