Fixed Crash Upon Trying to Hire Officer

I landed at Marigot and started talking to NPCs. One wanted to be an officer so I asked him how good he was and the game crashed.

The logs are a bit different than usual too.

This looks like a really weird error.
Could you try it again and see if it happens again?

Of course I will, but only at a time when I will not lose a lot of progress. I already met another wannabe officer, stopped and saved, but then he did not want to talk to me.

It happened again, this time at Santiago. The logs are a little different.
