ctd when i die and live.

when i die and come back to the tavern it ctd's any ideas on how to fix it i am checking the code but there is a lot of code

Sorry to hear that you have that problem, but I haven't encountered that before.
Yes, there is an awful lot of code, which makes it difficult to find your problem. Can you give us a few more details, like

When and where did this happen?

Always or only under certain conditions?

Build 12 or 11 ?

What kind of "CTD", frozen game, black screen, crash to windows?

And can you post the errorlog?

ok it ctd's aka crashes to windows anytime i die and i survive. it crashes when it loads the tavern area. it happens everywhere. i have build 12. there isnt an error log that i could find

You have to activate logging in engine.ini. Best use Scheffnow's mod helper tool (I think it's in the tools directory of the build).

Thank's for the details, that narrows the searchsector considerably. The artefact movie and the "tavern upstairs" loading screen appear and then it crashes? In that case the problem might be in the programdialogseng_officiant_dialog.c file. Though it seems to work for other people <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> Can you check if you have that file, with date 12Nov04 and 6,43KB

and an errorlog would be VERY helpful <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />
