Dancing in AOP mods

I was thinking for long how much I miss a dancing hall and the dances from Sid Meier's Pirates. I want them cut off from there and introduced in one of the mods here. Copy/Paste <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> These old dances -kadrill etc so much bring you back in time and the atmosphere is unique. Of course if someone can make something even better I won't mind.

Copy-pasting between two 100% different games (code-wise) is impossible. The whole functionality would have to be redone. Considering the fact that modding for AoP is pretty much dead and nobody knows about making new animations for PotC either, it doesn't seem likely this is going to be done any time soon. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Well in Sid's Pirates itself dancing is a separate regime of playing/loading that starts apart of the usual functioning processes. And as far as I've seen in the mods have been introduced too many unusual things. Of course copy/pasting was a joke in my previous post,but a suitable co-operation/inclusion of another game regime is theorethically possible in any of the existing good mods. Pity I don't know enough myself to do it, though I made a Mafia mod once.

You suggest having an external game load for the dancing part? Sounds rather like a lot of work, if it can be done at all. We don't have many modders for PotC as it is and we definitly don't have any to spare. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

though i'd like this mod, i've always read in every review of the game that the dancing was really annoying, although i'd thnk different about it. but i think that that was actually sid meier's pirates!.
