Did Anyone ...?

Did anyone ever manage to get their DOS copy of Pirates! Gold to work on a slowmo program? I was able to successfully use one on some of my other favorite DOS games, but I haven't dusted off P!G yet to try it... Any luck?

I haven't tried DosBox on it yet, no. I should. It got my copy of Police Quest 3 to work on a different machine.

The problem I've found with Pirates Gold was that it's own memory management didn't like QEMM.
Slowmo doesn't use much ram so it should work I think.
Another problem I've had with a newer vid card was getting it to do VESA right.

Best bet is to get old PCI vid cards designed to work with Win 3.1
They do well in Dos.
