The good news about this, at least from my standpoint is that ATARI is a well known brand and they tend not to underpush games. This should be good for Akella and for AOP.
 
Yeah, but as a fan site we'll get shafted.

Id like to know why Atari is involved though, since they are a publisher themselves what do they bring to the table?

i'm going to buy it as soon it comes to Slovenia(some games never reach my country, some are with few months delay; hope for this i'll get it 'till october)it looks great but above all i want that what i missed in PotC most : Multiplayer...

i'm quite disapointed though by such delay over whole summer holidays and i have feeling that my school's things will suffer for the price of this game(thats the reason that makes me angry)...
 
wasn't the reason why it took them "So long" to release it cuz they wanted to add new features? (Have readed that on the official forums somewhere) But I don't see new features in the list of Game Features

Well, but I'm boykoting SF not only becuase its bad for my laptop, but also because the way the SF people handle things. First they threaten to sue anyone who says something negative about SF and second I still remeber when you could found a link to a pirated version of Galactic Civilization 2 on the official SF forum (it was there for a week).

If I would by the game, I wouldn't boykott it.

It time for the developer and publisher to understand, that any copyprotection can be hacked, and the only one who suffer from SF (or other to rigid copyprotections) are the people who actually buy the game.

Statistics often showed that games sold well without copyprotection at all. Its not the copy protection that sells the game, its the game itself and how good it is.
 
Target release date for Europe is: September 7th.
