DoDailyCrewPay error

Hello everybody,
I post that here because I don´t know if it is a bug or some other problem.
I have that DoDailyCrewPay error about every ten minutes and it drives me crazy!
Is there a workaround or something?

The error.log says

I vaguely recall seeing that before, but never noticed any adverse effects.
Are you actually having crashes?

Yup, back to desktop, about every ten minutes.
It even happens during boarding.
It drives me nuts!
I am doing saves bevor every action now and when I reload I can play ten more minutes.
That is what wonders me, I have ctd at action ´a´, I reload, can do action ´a´ and get ctd at action ´b´ or ´c´.
I am playing the latest build with the latest fix on a xp partition.

wow so the crashes are purely random in time (ie it will just crash not on loading a location or anything?)

Totally random.
I get the message that engine.exe had a problem and had to be shut down.
So far I only had these crashes on sea, do not remember having it on land.
Weird, ain´t it?
What bothers me most on that crash is, it sometimes appears after a long battle shortly bevor I can make a save again and half an hour of hard fighting is gone.
Sometimes even a bottle of rum can´t help my grief.

Thats a bit more merciful than my 3 hours of armed merchant cruiser battling followed by a sudden dismemberment of engine.exe... because the stupid Avira Antivir spam ad every midnight popped up in the background.

Thankfully I managed to save in a brief lull of battle, as Spanish and Dutch armed merchants... and a dinghy, moved to fight over the shattered remains of a pirate corvette.

I've been getting these errors constantly whenever I play, however I don't crash.

I suspect they are crew pay related, due the the obvious error name as well as the fact I often end up not getting the message for pay me crew for several months (though that may be just because my crew pay is 0)

A crew pay of 0 per month isn't very common, but indeed in that case you wouldn't get the screen.
