Doh! I be naked mate!

Admiral8Q

Troublesome Corsair
Well I fought out a battle of 3 fer me 4 fer the pirates, I got ther biggest ship in boarding, but as aye made me escape, lost all of me sails in one volley, lucky bastards!!!

Curse them the battle was going well and I played over 2 hours on this battle alone. 8) :p3 :? :bow

Oh well time to start from me last save, grrrr :

I see a tan sloop and I want it painted blue...
No luggers anymore I want my sloops of blue...
I see the pirate ships with their flags of scum,
I have to turn my head and drink a bit more rum!
8)

Ahh, Skull can ye blame him. I too swell with pride when I see me fleet of the British Royal Navy :cheers

I must confess, I do like the emblemed sails with the George Cross. Very nice... :cheers :woot It's a departure for me, tho, I usually use the skull and crossbones with the bandana - it's my own personal pirate flag that I use when I am at the RenFaire in encampment. But the George Cross on black sails, VERY nice... :(

:gday But what a situation, Admiral8Q! I guess you didn't make it back to port, hm? xD::

Aye, but me black heart swells when I see me ships flying the skull & crossed swords. Then I know that me prey will be scurrying about the deck in abject fear of what is about to descend upon them.

Balls, grape, chain, and bombs are all well and good in a captain's arsenal. But a psychological advantage is the most powerful weapon a captain can ever wield, as long as he or she has the stones to follow through.

:cheers Argh!! I here remember well a time like dat, when me ship was by sunk by da French and I was able to escape in me trusty ol' dingy only to be a hit by a storm afterwords. Dee funny thing is, me mateys, dat me dingy outlasted dee galleon belongin' to a merchant I was escortin' (god bless yee, "light repair" ability har har!!).

Aye, Catalina, that flag is near & dear to me heart. But when I need to get me point across to these dullard military types, a set of crossed swords does the trick.

Then again, if they think I and me crew are nothing but a bunch of drunken sots, that might lull them into a sense of false security... (not that they'd be too far off)

I'd have 'em, then! Thank ye, Catalina! I'll change me sails straight away! You know, we seem to think along the same lines, you and I. Perhaps an alliance could be formed... :cheers

Heh, yeah, and Nathaniel needs an alliance with Danielle... xD: :no

I be a rather independent type, Mad Jack... And I'm in charge, mind ye... :d:

Har! Kev,I too swell wid pride when I see navies at de bottom of de ocean
after a good fight an some plunder'n tew boot xD:

Arg I sink the piratey vessels I encounter

Well, I finally scavenged up the texturing tool, and made me own set of sails (after me own flag, of course). xD:

They may not be as fearsome as the Calico Jack, but I'll strike holy terror in the heart of any captain with a hold full of rum!! :cheeky

After a fashion, yes. The one that are provided in the build are a variation on the flag I use. Plus, I didn't care for having the lettering on me sails. Makes 'em a bit too busy for my liking. I've got enough going on to make dizzy, me own sails need not be adding to it! :) :yes

Ultimately, it gave me the excuse I needed to start playing with the texturing tools. :cheers

Wow, they took out your sails in one volly? Never saw that happen before.

I have! xD: ;)

Anyways, I captured a pirate Corvette and use that as me flag ship now. The coolest thing was I captured it, ditched me other boat and used it right away to firght off a swarm of Pirates. This Corvette had the "Time flies when you're having Rum" sails! :p:
