When dueling on ships I notice that on the box that you can see your crew dueling as well. When I duel I never see my crew. Is there a way to fix this because it would really be awesome to see them.

Thats weird,either yer game didn't load properly,ur maybe yer graphics detail settings are to low <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
 
Object/ world detail slider.

In the Video settings section of the game.

Set in middle to see crew, to right to see sails move.
 
Adding the crew to the shipboard duels really slowed down the duels for me. (This was not a bad thing...I'm not very good at it.) Moving the slider all the way to the right made the whole thing go in `slow-motion`, especially against Blackbeard. I suspect the graphics for his beard are what slows things down.
 
My buddy just bought a new monster machine and moving the world detail slider slowed his system way down. How much machine does it take to run full detail at full speed?
 
I think some programmer(s) at Firaxis have fouled up a bit with the graphics. There's no way the graphics in Pirates! are more demanding than other games in the market nowadays. I hope they are able to track their mistakes and fix these issues in a patch...

In version 2 of the Parrot mod the Firaxis animated parrot is visible in the `o-pedia`.

Version 3 has more fun, but still the stock animation!
