embelem on sails

i have seen people offering to make sails for people and pictures of cool sails, well i want cool sails too i can do my own work in photoshop but i have looked in the textures file but i cant find any sails texture file and what format is it in, sorry for being a total noob, please help me <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huhh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="k" border="0" alt="huhh.gif" />

They're in RESOURCE\Textures\Ships as .tga.tx files. You can find a TX Converter to edit the files.

i now have a problem that none of the buttons on the F2 menu in the V12 build work i click but nothing happens is this just me or is this an error?

Maybe you accidently changed something in the files when you did whatever it was you did when you said " ok dont that ".

If you use photoshop, you will also need <a href="http://eliteforce2.filefront.com/file/DDS_Converter;29412" target="_blank">DDS Converter</a> to convert the the PSD files to TGA, you can also convert them to JPG to show us.

ok i seen to have fixed the F2 menu problem after many stressfull hours it would not work after restart and i had not changed any program files, in the end i reapplied build 12 and it works good. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
is there a site i can get all the converters i need
.tgx to png,bmp,jpg,targa,gif,stf or and easly editable file
and also any of those back to .tgx

(if you have not been to a tailors you can still make all officers you meet but dont hire look like you! including captured officers your holding for ransom, dont you find it weird you can dress your prissoners is what ever you want?)

You need the DDS Converter that i gave you the link to, that is for the PSD to tga and PSD to JPG etc.

Doesnt PS save fine as JPG and TGA (TGA is Targa)? Why convert, when PS can save as that format? Or is it not saving it in the PROPER sub-format for TGA... ? Lordy knows PS saves fine jpgs for web viewing...

When you open up a plain sail and then add a load of things, you can only save as PSD, you can maybe open it up after saving and then save in another format.

Usually you want to keep the PSD file around to manipulate layers in, but when you are going to save for what you need, you save as... and flattened.

I'm working with photoshop 7. And I can save my works as .tga without converting them afterall. You have to use the option "save as..." not the "save" option or the hot key for saving.
If you use the "save as..." option you can select in which format you want to save your work. (PSD,PDD,<!--coloro:#FF0000--><span style="color:#FF0000"><!--/coloro-->BMP,RLE,DIB<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->,GIF,EPS,<!--coloro:#FF0000--><span style="color:#FF0000"><!--/coloro-->JPG,JPEG,JPE<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->,PCX,PDF,PCX,PCT,PICT,PXR,PNG,RAW,SCT,<!--coloro:#FF0000--><span style="color:#FF0000"><!--/coloro-->TGA,VDA,ICB,VST<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->,TIFF or TIF).
