i now this question is already asked bud with no good answer.
When i play AOP its stops by ........ ENGINE.exe .........

Can pleas, someone tell my how to fix it ?.

i now that lots of people have this
and maby someone who's fixed the problem tell my how to do that.

believe me, half the active members are from the netherlands, including me. but that doesn't really matter that much. but i'm sure that that's not how you meant it. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />
 
I'm english and you speak english better than I could speak any other language. I dont think I would have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out.

PS please tell us what it says in your system log and error log (located in the main game folder with the engine) coz that is where the problem is logged. Errors in the ENGINE.EXE could come from any of the sub-folders in version 1.5 so crashes because of the engine mean basically everything that can cause a crash.
 
that dutch people can't speak english. that's what i suggested, but i knew that you didn't mean that.

i won't be any help here though. sooner or later help will turn up.
 
Good to see some Dutch people lol, im from The Netherlands myself however i have lived in the US for 3 years, and with being a developer/programmer my english is most of the times better then my dutch is lol

do you mean that i tell you this .

and the game crashes if i go on a boat and sail on the map and i click to gett back to the boat then it happend

i cant go to other island now <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
 
seems to me that there are three things wrong that turn up all at once, causing the crash.

What version of the game are you using?
1.41 1.42 1.43 1.5 - Supermod v1, v2, v3, v4, v5 - other

Have you removed Starforce?
(if not, seriously consider)

Your subsequent post implies that the game starts.

What are your system specs?
Marginal systems can have intermittent problems.

Have you modded or edited your game?

Have you turned off background processes like anti-virus and firewall?
(If you do, remember to disconnect from the internet, as in unplug the wire)

Did you try the strange but obvious -> defrag your drive.
(Many different games have started working because of this.)

Have you tried re-installing?
(Ok, not fun, but may cause the problem)

Did you try downloading the latest drivers for your video and sound cards?
(Google to find the manufacturer's web sites)

yes it start bud when its shut of if i go from World map to sea bud not by all island sometime its happend when i go into a tavern

i dont no how to say it in english bud i have a ... New... computer from DELL (in dutch. ik heb vorig jaar deze computer bij dell gekocht voor 1200 euro)

yes thats not the reason i think

my game already works bud only it shut of many times.
