    When I was a young boy, I loved movies with Errol Flynn. He was the most famous pirate actor back in the days, and recently i started looking for some more information about his very wicked life. Aside from stories about him I did read, that he owned one of the most beautiful ships I´ve ever seen, the 120ft schooner "Zaca". I won´t show a picture here but there is one at wikipedia if you look for his name.
    Has anyone seen more pictures of this ship, and does anyone know, what happened with her after his death?

    Nothing serious, only something I was very impressed about. I mean, he did not only play the sailor, he was one, and he lived on this particular ship for years.

    Never knew that!
    Now I'm curious what that boat looked like. :shock

    @Grey Roger,
    I searched with the wrong keywords, thank you! Best is, that this ship is still alive. :yes

    @Pieter Boelen,
    a boat? 120ft I would call a ship. And Errol Flynn lived aboard for years, especially after he had to flee the US justice cause of financial problems. Only I am not sure if he raised the black flag once in while. :cheeky

    You didn't mention the size, so I had to make an assumption.
    But "ship" it is. ;)

    I did, Peter! And away from that a schooner always is a ship. Yes, I know, i´m nitpicking, I am known for that, so sorry, no offense... :rofl

    And so you did. My mistake.

    In my defence, the amount of stuff I've got on my mind these days is quite ludicrous.
    I haven't been able to give the forum all the attention that I'd like to.

    No worries; no offense taken.
    I've got better things to do than to make a fuss where none is needed. :rofl
