Error with Build Mod 14 -.-

Hello at all,
i tried to install the build mod 14.
before i tried it, i installed the build mod 13. Now i start the installer for build mod 14 and after extracting all the files, i get an error -.-
There i can see, that the program was unable to open some files i think there were about 10 files the program couldn't open -.-
So my question now is, what i can do to install it.
I have vista.
Thatnks :)
 
On Vista you need to install the game somewhere other than Program Files. I think a lot of people use c:/Games/PotC or similar.

I know I do. If you install Build 14 Alpha 9 elsewhere, do you still get those errors?
 
another advice to people on Vista use the public game folder it should work fine from there. NOT!! it saves options and engine.ini in a public save folder or in your own under the user can't remember exactly
