I've got a weird problem now, this time with GOF 2.0.8 (finally updated and started a new game). Fresh install of game and GOF, no other mods.
Situation: storm in the bay of Port of Spain. I'm a Spaniard, btw.. I went from the map screen into the 3d screen (not sure anymore if it was done by me or because there was a storm) and then suddenly I started receiving messages.
ERROR: Index for character is incorrect. Wrong index is -1.
Not sure whether that is for my sails, whose health was going down, or for that one lone English ship in the bay that spotted me (Merchant-something, called Royal Sovereign) who was losing health and was in a pretty bad way. They ended up sinking in the storm.
Reloaded game, but didn't get that storm anymore, so I can't test it to see if I get those messages again. Any idea what could've caused tem to appear?
