Escape From Monkey Island (MI 4)

I wanted to play this old game again so I installed it. But too bad it looks incredible awful. Which is logical for an old game, but I was wondering is it possible to change a few things such as resolution to 1024x768 or even 1280x1024 that would make it alot better. Ofcourse this cannot be done trough normal options menu. But isn't there a config file somewhere where you can manually edit stuff? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Not that i know any ,you could try with 3D Analyser ,its a program that makes really heavy games run on slower computer(like Doom3 most people have GF MX440 so the game can't run and they turn off model shaders and stuff). So you should try with it.

Escape from Monkey Island is designed to run optimally in High Color (`16-bit`). To change your desktop color palette and resolution:

`Right-click` on the desktop where there are not any icons.
Choose Properties from the shortcut menu.
Click on the Settings tab.
Windows 95: Look at Color Palette.
Windows 98/ME/2000: Look at Colors.
Choose High Color (`16-bit`).
Windows 95: Look at Desktop Area.
Windows 98/ME/2000: Look at Screen Area.
Move the `slide-bar` to 640 by 480.
Click OK to close this window.
If your computer prompts you to restart
Click on Yes.

People don't seem to understand what I mean. What I want to the turn the resolution of Monkey Island itself up.
