Fellow cheaters unite!

As you may have guessed by my posts I like to cheat. I figure it is ok as long as I am just cheating myself. I would never cheat someone else knowingly (just want to make that clear). To me it is a way to make the game go the way I want. Anyhow, on to my point. I have been going through the game finding things I like or don't like and changing them to fit my needs. For example I figured out how to:
Change ability points
Change skill points
Change amount required to level
How to change storms
How to change how many enemy ships come near you
How to change how much ship repairs cost
How to change how much your stuff is bought for
How to change the max skill level
How to change the initial character looks
Change it so you can have 100 saved games
Change it so that you will run instead of walk
Sail faster
Substitute videos

Anyhow, I am always looking for a good challenge. I think I have more fun changing the game than actually playing it. Anyhow, is there something you been trying to figure out how to change and haven't been able to do it. Lets put our minds together and see if we can make it happen. Or let me know and I want to see if I can figure it out. PS: Are you using Build 12?

I could but it would be a post post build mod 12 (I am using post build mod 12). The only concern I would have is the people who made build mod 12 and post build mod 12 would get mad at me for overwriting over their stuff but on the other hand I never took there names out of the files so in that sense the credit for everyones prior work is still out there. Other than that the work is allready done all I would have to do is supply everyone with the modified files that I changed.

What did you overwrite? I mean, did you disable anything? If you changed it for the better, then I'm sure it's all right. Overwrite, tons of stuff. I wrote new merchant formulas, new ship generating formulas, new experience level formulas, ability and skill ratio changes, etc. The list goes on and on. In some cases like the storms I took them out but I can change it to a toggle. I heard that if you press f3 it will toggle the storms and battles on and off but I haven't tried it yet. Anyhow, to make this post short I changed a bunch of stuff. I just like to tweak stuff.

Never mind about offending anyone by changing their code. Tweaks are not a bad thing. It all sounds good to me just pm me an email or a place you want me to send them to and I will shoot em on out. How you can toggle a formula change is beyond me, buy hey be my guest. I say the more options the better! I haven't played arround much with making things toggable. When I edit my files I just edit the file directly most of the time so there might be a bunch of hunt and peck. I will try for the most part to tell you what I did but I wouldn't be surprised if I forgot some of the adjustments I have made. You can send it to pieter_boelen@planet.nl . You don't need to tell me what you have changed. If you just send the entire PROGRAM folder in a zip file, I can make a program (WinMerge) make a comparision with my own PROGRAM subfolder, so I'll find out the differences soon enough.
Everything you can tell me about what the changes are for would be useful though.
