female captains

Of all the ships i captured i never even once seen the female captain, which is weird because i know there were female captains (Danielle, quedabras costillas bartender, that lass in tortuga tavern,) so i wonder are there actually female captains in the game apart fro those in storylines.

I think there should be, but they're rare. Possibly, they're only encountered in pirate hunting quests from the governors.
I do know for sure that you CAN encounter them there.

I've encountered plenty, but I think all of them were pirates
