Never a big fan of it to be honest, I could never download large files as apparently they had some kind or regional quota
 
It was a good place for storing stuff though; and they didn't have dozens of stupid ads and waiting quotes or something.
Usually it worked fine for me, though I did have some large downloads that failed.
On the whole though, it was a good site and I hope it might come back again when this silly crisis thing is over.

There are many game mods that are only in filefront. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />

3) We're making this announcement on April 1st because the deal was completed today and we want to bring all services back online immediately.

4) We would NEVER shut down FileFront as an April Fool's joke.

5) We are happy to be back!

FileFront has existed in one form or another (originally as FileLeech and Voodoo Extreme's downloads) since 1997. In the last 12 years, FileFront has become the gaming community's most comprehensive and trafficked library hosting millions of files for thousands of games while requiring no registration and providing uncapped download speeds. We look forward to improving FileFront and serving the gaming community for years to come.

Shit.. I almost thought that now is the end of finding modifications easy for games. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" /> Whew good riddance they got it back up. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> Come on FlieFront has most of the hard-to-find mods for Silent Hunter 3 and 4.. you will only find them by searching the subsim forums like crazy and almost all of the mods are in someone's FileFront account. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> Similar thing goes for Dawn of War and it's expansions but the exception is that it's not so hard to find mods for DoW because it has a special filefront website so it's alot easier to find mods for that game.. you see FileFront just CAN'T close down, it would flush buttloads of mods with it. Good thing they managed to put a plug into the toilet just seconds after pressing the flush button. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />
