First person view

is it possible to also have first person view when in fight mod? when i am in first person mode it always switches to 3rd person when i enter a fight. can this somehow be changed?

it would be great if it could be done, somehow its more immersive that way, at least to me <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> i never played potc without the build mod, is the first person view modded or was it also possible in original potc? because if it was modded there might be a chance to mod this too <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

maybe the camera could be zoomed in really close, so it would be just in front of the face of your character. that way you'd even see the brim of your hat and such.

by the way, it's NOT possible to create a crosshair like you see in first person view at sea for manual shooting with you pistol. it has already been tried, but it had some wierd results.

Haven't I once seen a shotgun mode WITH crosshair in PotC once? Or am I imagining things?

Yes, on one of the beta screens of POTC. Same like that dense jungle screen with the bridge.

Actually, I recall there was an old cheatmode mod that allowed you to enable that ingame. I recall I even did that in my own game. That poses the question: Do I still have those files???

Absolutely right!

And that was someone (I can find the name if you need it) who just activated the cheat, with cross hair graphics that were already in Stock game.

I might still have that somewhere.
