Fix needed for the Nigel quest

I have two questions about this quest. Is there a walk through somewhere and do you have to have him as an assigned officer when you land at places for the quest to move or will it work if he just a paasenger?

Don't think thars a walkthrough mate,after hire'n Nigel sail fer Oxbay,assign him as officer,do choclate run,sail te Conceico,meet up wid Nigel in Tavern and take Shaggy Gary quest,do not sink his corvette,capture the corvette an make Nigel captain,rest will happen on its own <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

Aye mate,be sure Oxbay Liberated before ye hire Nigel,sail ter these ports in order,ye must sail inte Ports ter trigger Quest, Hire Nigel,sail te Oxbay,do choclate run,Concieco,take Shaggy Gary Quest,After leav'n Conceiceo,good idea te do a few milk runs te build up Nigel's fenc'n skill,utherwise he might not survive up come'n battle at Douwsen,sail te Douwsen,when sail'n outta Douwsen, ye may run inter a twin corvette wid Nigel aboard,he will blow holes in ye,leave him alone,fast sail out O' port,than te Isla Muelle, back ter Douwsen.Enjoy mates <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

Also, you might want to fly the Pirate flag after leaving Douwesen and before approaching any other island, while Nigel sails his own ship.
