Hey folks,

I 've noticed this bug at the formast!

How can I fix it? It really starts getting on my nervs, when looking at my nice ship!
 
I want the vants to end up closer to the mast, like main- and besanmast (blue circle)...
 
I guess it has to done with inaz... tool (moving the vant locators of the formast-model), but how? I have only AoP2...

If it's relatively simple. With the tool to open the mast 2nd Now open Locator Search ray_a2 and increase the Y value. Done! ;)
 
I fixed it + removed some flag locators, know it looks much better...

I agree with the mast being raised but not to sure about the flags (IMO)

If it was like we have set up the Build Mod you could have changed them to pennants and have the other 2 ensigns and I reckon that would look wicked :yes
 
Ah, yes. But it ISN'T like in the Build.
Our dear AoP and CoAS players have to make do with no seperate pennants and ensigns.
I pity those poor buggers. :razz
 
Hey, does anyone know how I can add more backlights to the model, or what steps should be considered??

We loose out on that maybe but we gain in the fact that we can have different textures to a ship meaning less shoips of the same model while you poor POTC player's have to make do with adding a new ship for each texture.:razz
 
Dutch Escort Ship has same issue with the vants being too far out from the main-tops/crows nests. Bet these are not the only models. I'll start paying closer attention. V/R AS
 
Another thing I want to change is the camera starting point on deck. Is there a method how I could do that??
 
Hey, a new idea for upgrading the arabellaship:

How about adding 2 more sternlights? That would make her even more pretty!
I just don't really know how to do this

If the fonar is a separate GM you could try adding the locators with TOOL, just like you did with the camera, the other option would be export>mod>reimport...
 
best way to do it is throu maya ,if u do it with tool ull probably end up with reversed lightning bug

Would you mind, if you have the time, and if you can, posting us proper explanations for that, I mean, converting ship models properly from maya? with the textures and all?!

If it doesn't bother you of course, I would understand if you couldn't, no problem matey :)
