Forum reputation?

In probably my millionth thread/post in the past 12 hours, I've got another question. I've seen this "Reputation" that is in members' profiles, but everyone I go on it is 0. I mean, all the news gatherers, moderators, modders and admins all seem to have no rep

Was this a new feature introduced right before I joined?
I can see stars on profiles, just that "reputation = 0" thing that has got me intrigued.

For my part, I think it is rather discriminating to rate people for their questions or their contributions in general. Like one is better than the other...And we are not that many in here, we know eachother well. Best of all, we are not a site attracting kids who needs to be told how to behave

Then again...wandering the paths of Philophy Road now...If you really wanted to be in bad standing with our (fast, but most of all nice) moderators, I think you would probably have to post links to warez/pornsites or ask the same question in 5 forums, after being told several times not to - and any eventual Rep would be obsolete before you reached the door anyway

Aye, I see your point. And yes, it seems like you would have to be be seriously bad to get the moderators pissed Not like other forums I have been on. Everywhere else is just so strict, and dull :? At least on here you can chill with pretty much everyone

I got a 7 day ban for posting a Picard facepalm ASCII as part of a joke once. A laugh in a thread like some joke threads on here. You couldn't have a laugh with the moderators/admins, or have any joke threads like the couting game or threads where you add a word to a story. No chance. But enough of my complaining :urgh I've probably spent more hours on this forum in my 3 days than I have with other forums for a year :nk

I come from the Bungie forums and the 341i forums, aka the forums for the Halo franchise primarily. Although I've joined various forums relating to some of my favorite games, I really only check them for news, and post the odd question if need be. (excluding this one of course, which I seem to be spending a lot of time on lately ) But alas, I know no knowledge of coding. Shame really, because I'm a square eyed hypnotized individual in front of a computer for like 12 hours a day, and would undoubtedly join a group of modders such as your selves. I know I need not flatter too much, but at least this place feels like an actual community unlike a lot of the forums I have been on. :nk

I'm more like the person who likes to post a lot, gather information/talk about various topics when suited; overall just having a good laugh with everyone. That sort of thing. My skills have always been with English, IT (just general computer stuff, not coding) and Business. But I digress. To be honest, I can go on a bit when I'm in a writing n' typing mood :hmm :nk

If I can remember correctly, I started off with 18 posts yesterday morning, and finished with 66 at 1 am the next day. :nk :urgh

I don't think I would have seen anyone with an average post count of 48 per day I wonder if I would actually continue spending nearly the whole day on here, posting away again. :nk

Lust like when I play on my Xbox 360 sometimes. You have profiles who have 5 start rep, but are still idiots. Yep. Waste of time in all honesty when you look at it.

WellI haven't been doing anything for 2 and a half months

It's just like one of those things I like to do. I like being in forum comunities such as PA!, since a lot of people aren't trolls, idiots and you can have a laugh with the Admins, Moderators and so on. And of course, the joke threads : I've never been in a forum where people count from 1 to infinite, chain stories or post whatever you want threads. The last forums I've been on, which were huge forums, you couldn't have a proper laugh on. The moderators just banned you for even the slightest thing. If I was to start a counting thread in the "off topic forums", I would get banned for spam, and have people saying "this is a waste of time" blah blah blah. Basically, most people are laid back here, and you don't always post in fear of being banned. :? I'll probably be staying at PA! for a long time now. Asuming everyone won't get mad because I post a lot I'm just a veyr active member :nk Apparently I've got an average post count of 25 per day 3

I don't post too much, I just help to test the build mod 14 and occasionally make a funny post, you could say I'm one of the more active members (though this will definitely change soon with school starting back up) but I'm sure there are a good number of people out here on these forums like me who just post in different places.
