Well, I have to say I'm having a little problem with this quest... I didn't have to get the French out of Oxbay, when you arrive to the isle, you automatically dock, and appear in land with the french captain and people from your crew (two characters named as "Nathaniel's crew memeber" or something like that in my case, I had 1 officer hired, so maybe if you've the max number of officers there will be no crew with you).

- You appear in Oxbay mines and gotta steal the gold from them, but once you kill all guards, the french tells you the gold convoy has left the mine and it's heading to Oxbay. You have to cross half the island searching for it, and finally, near Oxbay back entrance, you find 5 english soldiers, supossedly to be the "gold convoy" you're chasing. So you kill them before they leave that screen, and... here's the problem: First time I killed them, the french captain came to me, said something, BUT while he was talking to me, my character was in "please don't hurt me" animation, you know, when you attack some unarmed civilian, they cover themselfs with their hands and stay low and like "asking for mercy", well, Nathaniel was that way, and I was not able to defend or move or anything, and while he was that way, THE REST OF MY CREW AND MY OFFICCER ATTACKED ME AND KILLED ME!!! while the french captain was still talking to me!!!
I loaded the game, and killed everyone again, but this time the captain didn't talk to me, and `no-one` attacked me. The quest book updated, though, and it said something like that now we had the gold, but we still had to bring it to the ships. and that "the easiest way is to sail one ship to the bay while the rest waits to load the gold", well, I'm lost: I've tried to dock at every hot spot ot the island (even the french Oxbay colony, of course the fort attacks me and I can't dock...) and nothing. Don't know how to load the gold, When I dock somewhere, I appear in land with me and my officer, AND the captain, but no crew like in the "get the gold convoy" mission. I try to talk to the captain, but he woulden't say anything, he doesn't even attack when I'm attacked, and no NPC attacks him in the middle of a combat! But my officcer attacks and get attacked... So I think there's some bug or something, or if not, please someone tell me how to get the damned gold! Or maybe I have to get rid of the frenchs? :huh
Anyway, I've loaded the battle against the english `gold-escort` soldiers a lot of times, and sometimes my crew kills me without the french captain talking to me (I think he just sais we got the gold and we have to load it to the boats soon, or something like that, I always die before I can read it properly), some other times I'm not in "please don't kill me" mode, but the crew STILL attacks me, but I lose no health! And some other, it just happend nothing, I kill the soldiers, the french captain doesn't talk to me, the quest book gets updated... but I still don't know what to do to load the gold!!!
Argh!! Me picked up a sissy French laddie on Isla Muelle, dee scurvy dog promising heaps o' gold and dee instructions on how to get it once we made sea. Now, me crew 'n' I have been sailing fer days and dat French scoundrel still ain't said a word. Me 'n' me crew been contemplating siking da bastard fer his insolence, because he also been taken up a ship slot with his rickety brigantine. Is der any way to complete dis quest, me mateys, or is dis French sissy best sent to dee bottom o' dee sea?
