what i noticed in particular were the vertical cylinders. never seen those before. their placement seems uneccesarily inconvenient to me.

exactly one of those? that's very unusual, since there's 3 of them driving around at most, world-wide. conventional steam tractors without treads are far more common. i've seen a lot of them in the UK, even a few driving on the country roads.

The one I saw didn't run. : Was in the yard of an antique museum waiting to be restored - never did find out if they got around to working on it.
