Hello, i started playing AoP:CT yesterday. But the game usually after 20-30min. crashes on desktop with:"engine.exe stopped working" or it freezes. I have Win. Vista, AMD Sempron 3600, 1GB RAM, Radeon X1270, patch 1.5 and newest drivers from ATI. Please, what should i do to play it more than cca 30min. ???

Have you installed any other patch? If not, your PC is probably now infested with Starforce. <a href="http://www.glop.org/starforce/remove.php" target="_blank">Here's</a> how to get rid of it. After that, either get a <a href="http://www.gameburnworld.com/gp/gamefixes/ageofpiratescaribbeantales.shtml" target="_blank">NoDVD patch</a> or the <a href="http://hosted.filefront.com/CyberOps" target="_blank">Supermod</a>. (If you're just getting the NoDVD patch, make sure you get the right one - each different version of AoP needs a different NoDVD patch.)yes, i tried to play it on 1.41 even with Supermod and NOCD patch, but it still crashes. And the utility for Starforce i used 2days ago, so my computer is clear, but the problem is same. Now i have 1.5 without supermod and Starforce but with NOCD patch. Crash, crash, crash. I tried Atari official customer support but they told me that Win. Vista isn't compatible with AoP:CT. So i tried to run it with Win. It has been posted time and time again! Here it goes again, 1. install 1.41, don't play!!!
2. install 1.45, don't play!!! 3. install NOCD (link in my sig.).... and away we go!!
Supermod: 1. install 1.41, don't play!!! 2. install Supermod and all the updates.....play!
The game is very unstable and will crash, mainly of Sea Battle screens! So, safe, safe , safe!!!! Remember Supermod has part of all the official updates and NOCD included!!
