Need Help Gentlemen of Fortune extreme laggs

Ahoy
Running GOF on Win 7 with compatibility mod. I forced my laptop to run it with GeForce 555m instead of Intel onboard graphic card have 4GB RAM.
No matter if I set the quality of textures and sea to minimum(no postproces) the game is still extremely lagging about 7-12 FPS
Do you have some idea why?

I don't know much about laptops, but i would say maybe the GPU isn't been able to give its full capability to the game, or maybe the CPU, what is the CPU?

Intel Core i7 2720QM @ 2.20GHz

Its not your CPU, then it must be your GPU.

That is quite odd, cos this GPU runs Crysis Crysis 2 Battlefield 3 AC2 on medium settings

Ok, so it can't be that then. Really you need someone who is able to go into better detail on laptops, i can't because i don't use them and have never owned one. I would rather use a desktop for gaming, that way i can improve it how i see fit rather than be limited to what the computer is capable of. Hopefully someone who knows more on laptops will be able to help you out, sorry i couldn't.
