This mod will add several great-looking officer and marine skins to the tailor shops. You can buy them if you have a high enough rank with the tailor shop's nation. These skins were added by Jack Davidson. The skins were made by JMV. Please note that AFAIK this mod is still not 100% compatible with Build 14 Alpha as it replaces some of the new skins in Build 14 Alpha.

Thank you EVER so much, HawkerT! At least the files are available now again. Although I am sorry to say that the links to <i>Build 14 Alpha Full (103 MB)</i> and <i>Cutthroat Island Music Pack (83,8 MB)</i> aren't working yet.

I have sent another e-mail yesterday; let's see if it does any good. I'm hoping to have this problem solved soon. If it isn't solved within a couple of weeks, I'm afraid we'll be having a major problem on our hands. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Okay Gents ... You obviously wanted this quite badly as my web host admin renamed the two files due to excessive download <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

I have renamed the two files and moved them to another folder on my site. So please go easy on them or the admin will no doubt push that button again <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />

i think that that would be my fault. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> i introduced some other people on a different forum to the mods recently. i'll tell them to go easy on it.
 
Please let me know in this thread if one or more of the links go down again, and I will troubleshoot/fix ASAP.

If the demand is to high I will provide the files via ftp:// as I think that will be less taxing on my ISP's infrastructure than using the http:// protocol as currently.

Could you upload it to filefront? Its usually pretty good. Or you could split the larger files that are being downloaded heavily into several parts.

Anyway ... the ISP admin renamed the files again.
Hmmmm ... well I aint gonna give up this easily.

For starters I have created an FTP for the three most popular files, so please take the files from the FTP link and not via http.

I will also start uploading the files to Filefront as a backup.

Thanks for this. But there isn't the file I need now. Can anyone upload the POTC Music Pack somewhere? I've already wanted to download that file, but I've always forgot to do it..

i have that music pack, but i've made a lot of additions to it myself which you may not like. the songs i put in myself are for some reason a lot softer than they should be, so if you want it, you would have to live with turning the volume up and down sometimes. also: i've made a change to how the playing of music works, so if you see something that doesn't seem right, don't change it. i'll put it on the FTP server if you want it.

That is correct. However the webspace I have at PiratesAhoy, pieter.piratesahoy.org, is at a Malasyan server which is a bit of a problematic server. That's why I put all downloads on a more reliable server. Unfortunately now that is down as well. Seems I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place at the moment. I need a good reliable server that can handle lots of traffic. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />
 
when i download Build 13 Update 2 (5,08 MB) i unzipt it en tried to install but i get the message that it copied 0 files and i still able to play previous saved games

The something went wrong extracting. Next time select all files in the ZIP and try again. Does that work better?
